The Thunder Ridge Parks and Rec Snowboard lesson program is designed to teach and improve skills, instilling a passion for winter sports. This is a 6 week Program. Lessons are 90 minutes long. Lessons are for designed for those who never have snowboarded as well as those who are experienced snowboarders!

Print, Read, and Sign the Thunder Ridge Ski Area 2022-23 Season Lesson Program Liability Waiver - must be given to Thunder Ridge (both located in the forms section below which is directly above the activity sign up section)
- Program is for those AGES 8 and up.
- Regardless of ability, all boarders MUST attend the 1st lesson - NO EXCEPTIONS!
- Please be aware there is no guarantee that students will ride up the chairlift.
- No refunds, no make-up classes
- During the online registration process, you will have to read and agree to the Thunder Ridge guidelines. Patterson Rec cannot make any changes to Thunder Ridge guidelines.
All students will register for lessons only during the online registration process.
From there you will be prompted to add on a lift ticket (REQUIRED if you have not/will not purchase a season pass directly from Thunder Ridge) and/or
equipment rental (REQUIRED if you do not own or rent equipment elsewhere.
Please read the Skiing/Snowboarding Levels carefully and choose the level is most appropriate. Ability level is extremely important due to the restrictions on capacity and class size.
Lesson Only: Your child has/will have a valid season pass and has access to required equipment. Contact Thunder Ridge directly to purchase pass prior to start of lessons. Cost: $333
Lift & Lesson: includes required lift ticket needed for lessons and remainder of the evening on the mountain.
Cost: $501 (Lessons $333 + Lift Ticket for Lessons $168 = $501)

Lift, Lesson and Rentals: includes required lift ticket needed for lessons during lesson and remainder of the evening plus the equipment rental for the 6 week program.
Cost: $651 (Lessons $333 + Lift Ticket $168 + Rental $150 = $651)

Lesson day and time options for the 2022-2023 season are as follows:
Monday-Thursday: 5:30pm
Friday: 5:00pm OR 6:30pm
Saturday: 3:30pm OR 5:30pm Sat @ 3:30 sold out
Sunday: 3:30pm Sold Out
****The Freestyle snowboarding program is available for Ages 8 and up (MUST BE UPPER LEVEL snowboarder) on Wednesdays at 5:30 pm or Fridays at 5:00 pm****
You will choose 1 day/time per registration and that will be the day your child has for the duration of the program (unless Thunder Ridge advises you differently based on enrollment/skill level issues). You may not change day and time once program begins. Please register early as Lessons will sell out quickly.
